Roger Puts His Foot Down

We were rained out of our Intag Valley Trip. The road is washed out and we didn´t fancy a 3 hr. rainy mule ride on a steep muddy trail. I was looking through the guidebook and found a most interesting trip in the Ecuadorian Amazon jungle area that we could substitute. The 5 day ¨Survival Package
involves camping with a native guide and foraging for our own food. Roger gave me a withering look and gave a very emphatic NO! That guy does like his 3 squares a day.

    Foraging for food? On a vacation? We are 100% with Rog on this one. (Although Dana does have a long history of food foraging here in the NW.)

    Dana, do you remember NOTHING from the book The Lost City of Z? Mercifully, Roger is still lucid enough to keep you close to and distracted by hot blueberry pies instead of risking,,,,,(I cannot speak here of the risks because your mother reads this, too.)
